SMALL BUSINESS CORPORATION HONORS TOP BANK PARTNER

SB Corporation honored its outstanding bank partners during the recently held 2007 Bank Excellence Awards. Trade Undersecretary Elmer C. Hernandez (back row, 3rd from right) joined by former SB Corp. chairman and CEO Zorayda Amelia Alonzo( back row, center) and president and COO Benel P. Lagua (back row, 2nd from left) conferred awards to eight banks, one NGO and one account officer for their exceptional and active participation in the wholesale, credit guarantee and microfinance programs of the corporation. Planters Development Bank, represented by its chairman and chief executive officer Ambassador Jesus P. Tambunting (back row, 3rd from left) led the list of awardees as it received the Kabalikat SME Award for being a consistent awardee for the past 10 years.
