SB Corp reports P 1.4B contribution to the economy
Over a period of 20 years the Small Business Corporation (SB Corp) has remitted to the national government a total of P1.37 billion. This amount is equivalent to more than four times the initial P300 million investments made by the government to the Corporation through the Guarantee Fund for SMEs (GFSME), which was merged with SB Corp in 2001 and excludes the over P360 million dividend of the then GFSME to its mother agency.

Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.), a government financial institution charged with the primary responsibility of implementing policies and programs to assist micro, small and medium enterprises (mSMEs), was assigned an issuer rating of PRS Aa minus (corp.) by Philippine Rating Services Corporation (PhilRatings).
SBC inks partnership with MACCI
State –owned Small Business Corporation (SBC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MACCI) to cooperate in strengthening entrepreneurship in Pampanga and other parts of Region III thru interventions like capacity building programs , policy reforms for greater access to finance and other assistance to SMEs in the area.
